This research study aims to investigate the positive strides brought about by the online shopping system in the Lusaka District of Lusaka Province, Zambia. In today's digital era, businesses are increasingly leveraging various online shopping techniques to reach a wider audience. However, limited research exists on the specific impact of online shopping methods in the local context of Lusaka District.
A descriptive design was used for this study because it gives the researcher freedom to describe the facts and characteristics of a given idea, population, or subject of interest (Orodho, 2002). This study will use descriptions of quantitative and qualitative data on the subject matter of the positive strides brought about by the online shopping system. Kerlinger (1986) supported the idea of using descriptive design when he stated that a descriptive study is probably the best model to use in order to obtain personal attitudes, beliefs, and facts.
