ABOUT OUR UNIVERSITY

Gideon Robert University, founded in 2010, is a private higher education institution in the city of Lusaka (population range of 1,000,000–5,000,000). This university also has campuses in Lilayi and Town along Cairo Road Next to Bank of Zambia

Gideon Robert University (GRU), which is officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Zambia, is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000–15,000 students) coeducational Zambian higher education institution.

GRU also offers students a variety of academic and non-academic facilities and services, such as a library, housing, financial aid and/or scholarships, online courses and distance learning opportunities, and administrative services.

Gideon Robert University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, and diploma programs.

The university is one of Zambia's leading private higher education institutions. Registered under Zambian law under the Higher Education Act number 4 and the Ministry of Higher Education, with Certificate of Registration Number HEA/033, to provide university-level education in the capital city of Lusaka.

Gideon Robert University is also accredited by the Health Professions Council of Zambia to offer Diplomas in Clinical Medical Sciences under Certificate Number 0032/01.

The Nursing and Miwifery Council of Zambia train registered nurses under the Nurses and Midwives Act No. 31 of 1997 under Certificate Number 050 and License No. 1122019.

Gideon Robert University is also accredited by The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA). is a statutory body under the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Zambia to develop and implement a national qualification framework to ensure that standards and registered qualifications are internationally comparable.

Gideon Robert University is also affiliated with  Kesmonds International University, an international University, that works to improve and establish education standards of institutes all over the world. With its global network of experts, KIU grants accreditation to educational institutions, corporations, professionals, and qualified individuals.
